South Florida Chapter President
The National Black MBA Association® – South Florida Chapter was founded in 1987 by five MBA employees of Ryder System® and Burger King Corporation® and now has grown to over 200 members. Our chapter consists of members from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties with professional experience acquired from both the public and private sectors.

- Establishing and maintaining an effective information and communication network which serves the membership.
- Generating professional exposure of the membership to the business community.
- Providing seminars and workshops for the membership.
- Assisting the entry of interested members into the business environment.
- Encouraging scholarly research in those areas of business which affect the African American community.
- Promoting the professional interests of current and future MBA’s throughout the South Florida area.

- Over $100,000 in scholarships awarded.
- 2010 LOT® National Case Competition – 3rd Place Winner (Nova Southeastern University)
- 2009 LOT® National Case Competition – 2nd Place Winner (University of Michigan)
- 2007 LOT® National Case Competition – 1st Place Winner (The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania)
- Host to 9th Annual National Leaders of Tomorrow® Case Competition – 2010
- Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce Community Leader Award – 2008
- 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc. Community Partnership Award – 2008
- Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation – Director’s Community Leadership Award – 2007
