Who can join the LOT Program?

What will I learn or gain from joining LOT?
LOT participants gain skills in leadership, financial literacy, college preparation, career planning, and networking. The program includes hands-on workshops, mentorship with business leaders, case competitions, and access to the annual National Leadership Summit.
How can I apply?
Applications for the Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program are managed through your local NBMBAA chapter. To be eligible, you must first be a member of the National Black MBA Association®. Are there any fees to join?
Students must be members of the National Black MBA Association® to participate in the LOT Program. High school students can join for a membership fee of $25 per year, which provides access to the program’s resources and activities. Students can sign up for membership here. Additionally, participation fees may vary by chapter to cover the costs of materials, events, and other program activities. Some chapters also offer financial assistance based on need.
What is the National Leadership Summit?
The National Leadership Summit is an annual gathering held in mid to late June, where LOT students from across the country participate in leadership workshops, networking, and a national case competition. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and meet peers from different regions.

Additionally, all mentors, advisors, and coaches are required to submit criminal background checks to ensure the safety and well-being of every student involved in the program.
What kind of commitment is expected from my child?
