The National Black MBA Association® celebrates the accomplishments of its members! We are highlighting the achievements of Jaqueline Mims, a member of the NBMBAA® since 2018, who is taking her field by storm.

Jacqueline completed her undergraduate degrees at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. She graduated with honors from the school of Computer Science with a focus on Engineering, received a minor in Business Administration, and earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from George Washington University. Jacqueline is also NASA GSFC’s first African American Civil Servant Certified Spacecraft Command Controller. As a direct result of this feat, she has received multiple high-level honors and awards.

All of her education and experience have allowed her to serve and equip future generations of STEM leaders. Through her not for profit organization, “My Global STEM Academy”, she hopes to afford students the same skills and opportunities that contributed to her success.

This past September, the NBMBAA® awarded Jacqueline the 2019 Outstanding MBA of the Year Award for her excellent work in her field. We continue to praise Jacqueline, who continues to help lead the charge in creating educational and growth opportunities for future STEM Leaders.
