Maurice Clark, Cleveland Chapter President

Established in 1985, the Cleveland Northeast Ohio Chapter is a non-profit organization with over 150 members with professional experience in both public and private sectors.

The primary goals of the Cleveland Northeast Ohio Chapter are to:

  • Establish connections and facilitate an effective information and communications network, which will serve the membership and the business community
  • Serve as a community intermediary bridging business resources and individuals
  • Facilitate professional education in business related areas in the form of seminars, classes, events and group discussions
  • Provide scholarships to minorities to attend institutions of higher learning and to disseminate information on scholarship availability for business students

Approximately 57% of our members have graduate or advanced degrees in a variety of disciplines including marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, information technology, telecommunication, e-commerce and general management.

The Cleveland Northeast Ohio Chapter covers the entire portion of Northeast, Ohio including, Canton, Akron, Kent, Youngstown, Lorain and Elyria.

The Cleveland Northeast Ohio Chapter was named Chapter of the Year in 2003, 2004, 2005, and most recently 2009. The Chapter also received the 2004 & 2005 CAAO Member Tubbs-Jones Economic Impact Award.
