Northern Virginia Chapter History

Our diverse and energetic group of professionals is working diligently to expand membership reach to underserved areas in the outlying Northern Virginia region. Broadening the target base of membership opportunities further promotes the mission of the National Black MBA Association®. The National Black MBA Association® NOVA Chapter was developed out of the need to provide developmental programs and resources to African American professionals, college students and youth in the Northern Virginia area.

Our mission is to provide programming and initiatives that support our Five Channels of Engagement: Education, Career, Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Lifestyle. Therefore, our partnerships and programming are developed to aid in the success of linking all five of these critical links.

We are dedicated to serving and enhancing the prosperity of our members in the Northern Virginia area. There are many ways our members can contribute to our commitment of fostering intellectual and economic wealth for the communities in which we empower, work, and serve.
