Windy Oliver serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Specialty Underwriting & Credit Services for Cards and Personal Loans at Wells Fargo. In this capacity, she is responsible for specialty underwriting for elite and affluent card customers, as well as underwriting and originations for Personal Loans. She also recently concluded a three-year term as President of Wells Fargo’s Black & African American Connection Employee Resource Network, during which she advanced initiatives supporting inclusion, belonging, and professional development across the company.
Prior to her current appointment, Windy led Shared Enablement Services for Personal Lending and held senior leadership roles as a Control Executive in Commercial Banking and as a Credit Risk Leader within Commercial Distribution Finance. She began her career at General Electric, where she served for 19 years in progressively responsible business leadership positions, including 10 years in GE Retail Consumer Finance. Her international leadership experience includes appointments as Chief Risk Officer for GE Capital in Riga, Latvia, and for GE Capital–Artesia Bank in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Windy is deeply committed to civic and community engagement in Charlotte, North Carolina. She serves on the boards of the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture and the Urban League of Central Carolinas, where she contributes her leadership and expertise in support of arts and culture, economic opportunity, and community advancement.
