Dr. Tan Morales has lived that question. First-generation college graduate on a full academic ride. Cancer survivor. Divorcee’. Mother of two rainbow children, one medically fragile. Former expat. Today she is Chief Learning & Strategy Officer of the National Black MBA Association, leading learning for a 10,000-attendee conference, 300 corporate partners, and an Institute of 3,000+ learners, lifting engagement 40% — while running a consultancy that guides organizations through transformation in turbulent times.
On the faculty of The Executive Leadership Council, she has graduated 700+ senior executives from IBM, Deloitte, Merck and JPMorgan Chase, earning a 97 NPS. As VP of Global Talent Management at Equifax, she led talent strategy for 20,000 employees across 26 countries, built a leadership institute developing 2,000 leaders a year, and raised retention 21% — earning the CEO Circle of Excellence. Earlier, ten years at Randstad included a global assignment in the Netherlands.
She holds four degrees — an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership, specializing in leading change and innovation; an MBA; an MS in Career Counseling; and a BBA in Finance and Accounting — the combination that lets her work where strategy and human capacity meet.
She is currently authoring The Art of Flourishing, built on her five-step framework: See, Own, Release, Align, Bloom.
