Damu joined Wells Fargo in November 2022 as Executive Vice President of Talent Acquisition. He is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of global enterprise recruiting delivery teams, sourcing, and talent attraction.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Damu served as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Target Corporation, where he was responsible for recruiting across all corporate and field locations. During his career at Target, he also led teams in several other operational areas, including buying, planning, and technology development.
In addition to his professional work, Damu is actively involved in the local community. He has served on several nonprofit boards focused on reducing disparities for diverse and low-income individuals. He serves on the Board of Children’s Minnesota Hospital and is a proud member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), which opens channels of opportunity for the development of Black executives to positively impact businesses and communities.
Damu earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He resides and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
