NBMBAA Volunteers 2022

Become a Volunteer

Welcome to a life changing opportunity… be a part of the 44th NBMBAA® Annual Conference & Exposition by volunteering. The NBMBAA® Annual Conference & Exposition will be hosting its first fully in-person conference since the dawning of COVID-19. Therefore, we are expecting one of our largest attendance in the host City of Atlanta, GA. We will need a lot of in-person volunteers to ensure the success of this year’s conference. We are expecting thousands of attendees to join us, requiring a great deal of “behind-the-scenes” coordination. As a volunteer, you can expand your network, share your skills, gain experience, and have an impact on the efficient operation and continued success of this annual event. Register to volunteer by clicking below.

Why People Love Volunteering

BYRON FURDGE

Question 1: What value did volunteering add to your professional development?

Answer 1: NBMBAA® is a nationally known and respected organization; having volunteer experience with NBMBAA® has afforded me personal contact with professionals from different industries. i.e., actors, politicians, entrepreneurs, business managers, etc. I was able to land a top role at one of the largest companies in the FinTech industry because of the powerful resources that NBMBAA® lt have available for professionals.

Question 2: How did you use this opportunity to network?

Answer 2: I believe that bright minds think alike. Therefore, I chose to be intentional about meeting the other professionals that NBMBAA® had brought together; with the goals in mind I wanted to achieve.

Question 3: Why would you encourage others to volunteer?

Answer 3: Volunteering satisfies my desire to give back. I found that volunteering has really fulfilled my purpose when those that I have served remembered me long after I have served them. If you’re looking to fulfill your purpose, like me, I encourage you to volunteer.
