Lane College

About the School

Lane College is different than many. Lane is incredibly affordable and consistently ranks as one of the most affordable private colleges in America. Many students attend Lane with little to no out-of-pocket expenses. Lane stresses your tomorrows more than your yesterdays. As such, Lane College does not require a standardized entrance exam – such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, or GMAT. Lane is designed as an HBCU environment where students of all academic and socio-economic backgrounds can thrive, and we are committed to your success in a way that most anyone can afford.

The college offers associate and bachelor’s degrees in a variety of majors. Students may earn a degree online or move into one of our many residence halls for a more traditional college experience. As one of America’s oldest historically Black colleges, Lane offers the complete HBCU experience. There are bands, NCAA varsity sports, divine nine Greek organizations, and over 100 other clubs and organizations. In addition, the college is networked with dozens of Fortune 500 employers for minority scholarships, internships, and career opportunities.

Lane has hundreds of business majors. In addition to offering a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, the business department offers concentrations in management, accounting, finance, and marketing. The business program is known for a hands-on, learn by doing, approach to business training and involves a variety of case competitions, business simulations, networking parties, and team events. The business program is also known for affordability, generous scholarship opportunities, and aggressive internship placement.

It is free to apply, and students may apply at any time by visiting lanecollege.edu or by contacting admissions@lanecollege.edu.
