Howard University

Howard University is offering educational scholarships to qualified members of the National Black MBA Association® (NBMBAA®). Applicants must be a current member of NBMBAA® and meet all Howard University admission requirements.

About the School

Founded in 1867, Howard University, a historically black college in the heart of the District of Columbia. The School of Business was founded in 1970 and for the 14th consecutive year, The Princeton Review has ranked the Howard University School of Business #1 for “Greatest Opportunities for Minority Students, and among the Top 10 for “Most Competitive Students.”  The Howard University MBA Program is also highly ranked by Bloomberg BusinessWeek and US News & World Report among the “Best Business Schools.”

The Howard MBA program develops world leaders who go on to create innovative solutions for major business and societal problems. At Howard, students gain the academic and professional foundation they need to make a first-class contribution to the global business community.




Up to $25,000 (two awards at $10,000 each; one award at $5,000) is available for students applying to Howard University School of Business.


In order to be considered for the Howard University scholarship, you must complete the NBMBAA® scholarship application. All applicants must meet Howard University admissions requirements to be considered for the scholarship.
