Visa Procedure

Visa Information

All participants will need a valid passport and should secure a visa in the Ghana consulate or embassy within or near their perspective city before arrival to New York. Evidence of a yellow fever vaccination is also required. Passports should have at least six months validity.

A Tourist Visa is required to enter Ghana. Complete the Ghana visa application form and print two (2) copies. You must sign both copies of the application form. Amendment pages (clearly marked as such) in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa issuance. Your passport’s expiration date must be greater than six months from the date you plan to depart the country you intend to visit. If your passport does not meet this requirement, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one prior to applying for your visa.
