NBMBAA® 43rd Annual Conference and Career Exposition

Health and Safety

At NBMBAA® we believe in the importance of face-to-face connection, interviewing, and networking. As we lead the way in bringing our members, stakeholders, and partners together, our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of those who choose to attend our event.

As the COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues, guidance for the gathering of groups continues to evolve. We are working with our vendors and partners in Chicago to develop protocols to create a safe environment for our in-person Conference and Career Expo this September. We will continue to monitor and follow mandates required by federal, state, and local jurisdictions, as well as the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

NBMBAA will continue to revise our procedures as necessary to reflect the current state of the pandemic response and requirements within the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois.

Plan Now to Attend – Get Vaccinated

If you are making plans to attend the Annual Conference and Exposition, we strongly encourage you get your vaccine as soon as it is available to you.

We recommend that you are fully vaccinated (14 days post final vaccine shot) prior to when you would need to travel to the event.

On-Site Protocols – What You Should Know

  • We will require the use of face masks during the Annual Conference & Career Expo.
  • Social distancing will be in effect according to the current city and state guidelines at the time of the event.
  • We will encourage frequent hand washing, sanitizing, and distancing. We will provide on-site sanitizing stations in high-touch areas.
  • To register for the event, NBMBAA will require all attendees to agree to follow health and safety rules, including an agreement not to attend if experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Attendees will be required to answer health screening questions before entering the event.
  • On-site signage will provide reminders for physical distancing throughout meeting and event spaces and highlight health and safety rules.
