• Since 1992, the NBMBAA Case Competition® allows MBA students an opportunity to showcase their talent by recommending solutions to a complex business case to a judging panel of corporate executives.  The case competition awards scholarships totaling $35,000 to the top three ranking teams, which compete at the national conference. 

National Black MBA Association Announces the Winners of the 8th Annual Leaders of Tomorrow National Case Competition
High school students awarded $32,000 in scholarships
CHICAGO (June 25, 2009) — More than 20 teams of high school students from across the country participated in the 8th Annual National Black MBA Association Leaders of Tomorrow National Business Case Competition, which was held at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business on Saturday, June 20.

First place honors went to the Austin, Texas Leaders of Tomorrow team, who will split $26,000 in scholarship monies. The South Florida and Memphis, Tenn. chapters placed second and third and were awarded $4,000 and $2,000, respectively. Read more on the Press Releases section.

PHD Project
The PhD Project is a unique diversity initiative that encourages African-American, Hispanic-Americans and Native Americans to pursue their Ph.D.’s in business to serve as role models and mentors for minority business students. Read more about this exciting initiative in our Education section.
